Borehole stress meter is designed to monitor the formation of stress in rock mass. It is small in size and suitable for installation in a borehole of dia from 38mm to 42mm. Special setting tool is required to place the stress meter in to borehole and to pressurize it so that it could be fixed between the periphery of borehole. The wedge and platen is used to tighten the stress meter in to borehole. The borehole stress meter is designed to use in soft rock and in hard rock.
